COVID-19 epidemic – Cancellation of BTSF Activities until 1 September 2021
Zrušení školicích aktivit BTSF do 1. září 2021
Dear BTSF national contact points,
We would like to introduce ourselves, Unit F6, the Unit now responsible for BTSF in DG SANTE. We
took over this competence from Unit D1 on 1 September 2020.
Due to the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic in all zones of the world and the difficulties to organise training activities in such circumstances, we have asked the Consumer, Health, Agriculture and Food Executive Agency to inform all BTSF training providers to:
- Defer all face to face training activities until 1 September 2021. With the possibility to resume sooner if the disease situation improves.
- Resume BTSF activities through the conversion of existing face-to-face activities to virtual classroom courses by January 2021 as an ongoing activity for those willing to pursue this option.
As the evolution of the epidemic is difficult to predict, we will continue to monitor it regularly and keep you posted of any further measures.
However, in this challenging period, we would be very grateful if you could strengthen your efforts to further promote the existing online resources available on the BTSF Academy (e.g. e-learning modules) throughout all services within your organisations.
Thank you for your continued support.
